About Concepcion community

00:00 | The municipality of Concepción is made up of several sectors. Initially, when the province was created, it was merely indigenous based with Chiquitano [and] Ayoreo [people], 

00:16 | both groups. Now with the migration of the people from the highlands, now another social structure has been composed. 

00:29 | Now we have the indigenous base Chiquitana, the indigenous base Ayorea, there are the intercultural communities, 

00:40 | the peasant communities, and the Bartolina communities, right? Then, there are about five social extracts, already within the municipality of Concepción. 

00:51 | [The] territory is big, isn’t it? So [there it is divided into zones] there’s zone one, zone two, up to zone nine.

01:01 | and we are seven communities that live in that zone, on a single line of road to there, to the last community. 

01:11 | So now, we struggle for the improvement of the road, for electrification and for communication, that is how we are structured. 

01:21 | And the intercultural peasant communities, and Bartolina has its own form of organization, and we respect that a lot, we don’t enter… 

01:31 | We do not interfere in their organization system, nor do they, but when there is a common demand, we are together, we all fight together for that common good.

00:58 | Porque yo vivo en la zona dos. 

01:01 | Y somos siete comunidades que vivimos en ese sector, sobre una sola línea de camino hasta allá, hasta la última comunidad. 

01:11 | Entonces ahora, nosotros luchamos por el mejoramiento del camino, por la electrificación y por la comunicación, así nosotros estamos estructurados. 

01:21 | Y las comunidades interculturales campesina, y Bartolina tiene su propia forma de organización ¿no? y nosotros respetamos mucho, no entramos… 

01:31 | No nos entrometemos en su sistema de organización, ni ellos tampoco, pero sí cuando hay una demanda en común, estamos juntos, luchamos todos juntos por ese bien común.
