Relations to territory

00:00 | Here in San Antonio de Lomerío we have some very important places for us. For example, the church, the schools, the [soccer] fields, the tourist places [to which] we always go to the lagoons, to the rivers. 

00:22 | To recreate with the family, right? And ‘the Chaco’, we call ‘the Chaco’ where we produce food to consume. 

00:33 | It’s a distraction to go to ‘the Chaco’, see, plant, work. 

00:40 | And well, for men their important places are the forest, the mountain where they go to hunt, to fish, where we can recreate ourselves, where we can go to de-stress. 

00:54 | When we go to places like this, to the rivers… when they are close, we go to wash clothes, to swim, men go to fish, and when they are places far away, far lakes or lagoons, they go fishing.

01:22 | We take care of them on our own initiative, we take care of it because we live with it; we cultivate the land, we produce the fruits, the food so that we can consume; In the case of rivers and lagoons, we still preserve what it is, the cleanliness, the habitat of the animals in the water.

00:00 | Aquí en San Antonio de Lomerío tenemos algunos lugares muy importantes para nosotros. Por ejemplo, la Iglesia, los colegios, las canchas [de fútbol], los lugares turísticos [a los] que nosotros siempre vamos, a las lagunas, a los ríos. 

00:22 | A recrearse con la familia, ¿no? Y al Chaco, nosotros le llamamos el Chaco donde nosotros producimos alimentos para consumir. 

00:33 | Es una distracción ir al Chaco, ver, sembrar, trabajar. 

00:40 | Y bueno, para los hombres sus lugares importantes es el bosque, el monte donde van a cazar, a pescar, donde podemos recrearnos, donde podemos ir a desestresarnos. 

00:54 | Cuando vamos a lugares así, a los ríos… cuando son cerca, vamos a lavar ropa, a nadar, a pescar los varones, y cuando son lugares lejos, lejanos de los lagos o lagunas, ellos van a pescar. 

01:12 | Acá nosotros, para informarle, nosotros cuidamos nuestro propio ambiente ¿no?, nuestra propia tierra, nuestros árboles, nuestros animales. 

01:22 | Nosotros los cuidamos a propia iniciativa de nosotros, lo cuidamos porque en con ella vivimos; la tierra cultivamos, producimos los frutos, los alimentos para que nosotros podamos consumir; en el caso de los ríos y lagunas, nosotros preservamos todavía lo que es este, la limpieza, el hábitat de los animales al agua.
