Luís Motore, work as a cowherd

00:00 | My job before was to tend cattle, I was a cowherd, right? And… I already retired from the ranches (haciendas) and I no longer work there. 

00:10 | In that residence as well and before… the place was locked up. When the owner came, he wanted to sell some steers, fat cows, I had to go to the (intelligible) over there in the field, 

00:24 | and then he brought some tame cows that we called milkmaids, with that we tied it up and brought it. 

00:31 | And from so much shooting around the field, the horse (intelligible) with me on it, I have a bad leg, my right leg. 

00:37 | I don’t work anymore right now, I’m just here at home raising chickens, ducks. My sons and daughters are the ones who support me and my income that the Government gives, every two months I go here to Conce (Concepción) I collect for two months, it is 700 (BOB), with that we support ourselves, we are just the two of us. 

00:00 | Aquí mi trabajo antes era atender ganado, atender ganado, era vaquero ¿no? Y… ya me retiré de las estancias (haciendas) ya no trabajé. 

00:10 | En esa estancia también y antes… era nomás el lugar encerrado. Llegaba el dueño, quería vender unos novillos, vacas gordas, uno tenía que cuaaaaanto irse al (inteligible) por allá por el campo,  

00:24 | y después llevaba unas vacas mansas que decimos las lecheras con eso lo mancornábamos y lo traíamos. 

00:31 | Y de tanto disparar por el campo, se (inteligible) el caballo conmigo, yo soy mal de la pierna, la pierna derecha. 

00:37 | Ya yo no trabajo ahorita estoy nomás aquí en mi casa criando pollos, patos. Mis hijos son los que me mantienen y mi renta que da el Gobierno, de eso cada dos meses yo voy aquí a Conce (Concepción) cobro de dos meses, son 700 (bolivianos), con eso nos mantenemos somos los dos nomás.
